Bladder cancer is treatable, follow the doctors' instructions. As far as home remedies, try laughter, the endorphins released seem to strengthen the immune system. Also lots of love. Rent some comedies from her generation, get a few pieces of dark chocolate (not milk) for when she needs a fix.

God Bless and good luck.

Bladder cancer (assuming it has not already spread beyond the bladder) is one of the best kinds to get, if you insist on getting cancer, LOL. It responds well to chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery, and worst case scenario, the entire bladder can be removed and replaced with a fake one made from part of your colon or with a synthetic replacement.

There are no effective home remedies for ANYTHING, if they worked they would become conventional medicine; the reason so many misguided people believe in home remedies is that many (most, even) illnesses cure themselves, given time. This is NOT the case with cancer!

Try this experiment: next time you get a headache, eat a teaspoonful of salt with a large glass of water, then bury the teaspoon in the front garden. Your headache will be gone within a few hours.

It's not a home remedy, the salt water and the teaspoon have NOTHING to do with your headache! What cured it was time...

The best home remedy anyone can recommend is to follow the doctors' orders and get the best nutrition possible, all the needed rest and avoid stress. All the things you would recommend to anyone with a major illness. Of course it never hurts to do other research on holistic alternatives but I would never recommend not taking the chemo when it comes to bladder cancer. My next-door neighbor (a wonderful WWII veteran whom I've known my entire life) was diagnosed at least ten years ago and although he's had some ups and downs he's still here.

Bladder cancer is very serious. It almost always comes back. This one is a very hard one to beat. Don't underestimate it at all. The only thing she can do is stay on top of it with her oncologist and if they do beat it make sure she checks in regularly.
