I’ve found the Dog Aware site to have lots of useful information on formulating a homemade diet, including for cancer.
When my dog had cancer in her spleen I found that a carb-free diet seemed to help.

Yahoo have a group called bone cancer dogs. I found it was helpful with my osteosarcoma dog. Please make sure your dog is on a powerful pain relief such as Tramadol and piroxicam. Bone cancer is excruciatingly painful.
We were seeing an oncologist. I didn’t amputate or do chemo because once a positive diagnosis is made the cancer has already spread to other organs, usually the lungs but at the beginning this is not visible on xray.
The oncologists push for amputation and chemo but it doesn’t save the life of the dog so why put the dog through all that pain.
No sugars, as few carbs as possible and a high protein and fatty diet is best as a cancer starving diet. Google the Budwig diet and it will take you to a dog cancer forum. I can’t remember the url.
My dog was previously fed raw but I changed over to a home cooked diet.
Cooked minced meat or chicken..any meat is ok..leave the fat in.
Steamed sweet potatoe and zuchini mixed in with the meat.
Occasionally Bok Choy was added.
Sometimes I gave a can of salmon with the vegies.
Breakfast was cottage cheese with flaxseed oil.
Nightcap was goats milk and organic yoghurt.
I’m so very sorry your dog has osteosarcoma, it’s a horrible disease and the best we can do is keep our dogs pain free for as long as possible.
ADD: Due to the compromised immune system in a cancer dog, cooked food is better because the digestive system doesn’t need to cope with the bacteria in raw meat.

My warmest well wishes for you and your dog. Bone cancer is the most painful cancer, and if this was my dog I would concentrate on pain management first and foremost. There are premade raw foods from brands like Bravo and Nature’s Variety. however, your dog’s appetite will decrease as his illness progresses, you might end up just feeding plain bonelss chicken breast and that is ok (not a balanced diet but ok for this) My prayers for you, your dog and family.
There are many people on the yahoo rawfeeding and RawMeatyBones forums who are or have fed dogs with cancer. There are a few vets on the RawMeatyBones site who are really helpful and willing to share their knowledge.
I raw fed my dogs and cats based around Dr Tom Lonsdale’s Raw Meaty Bones plan. They eat (each week) about 2/3 meat and the rest a combination of meaty bones and organs. They also get tinned mackerel, sardines or salmon once a week.
The only supplement I add is fish body oil for the omega 3 but only once a week or so. I live in Australia and the majority of what my dogs get is kangaroo and lamb. As these are ‘paddock’ raised the omega 3 content is higher than grain fed meats.
